United We Stand!

It's been ten years since I heard that trembling voice over the school's intercom telling us a plane has hit the World Trade Center.

Was it an accident?

Ten years since the world paused in shock, horror, and confusion to watch the unthinkable unfold on T.V.

Ten years since we came together as a nation, with more pride and perseverance than ever before.

9/11/01 Forever in our hearts and minds. Forever we stand united. God bless the U.S.A. and those who protect her.

The 5 Senses Never Fail!

I smell the smoke of the tailgate barbeque.

I see the yellow flag flying through the air.

I hear the clash of helmets and shoulder pads.

I feel the cold metal bench under me.

I taste sweet victory.
