St. Petersburg, FL or Bust!!

Are you looking for an excuse to travel to Florida in the dead of winter?  How about supporting TSF?
The Turner Syndrome Foundation is an official charity of the Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Pete ½ Marathon Series in St. Petersburg , Florida on February 12, 2012.
By joining Team TSF with a fundraising commitment for the marathon, you will be helping raise awareness and support for Turner Syndrome, a little known chromosomal condition affecting 1 in 2000 girls, a condition with which early diagnosis and treatment are extremely vital.
“As a female, I never heard of Turner Syndrome until my niece was diagnosed with this and soon thereafter, her mom became the director and founding president of TSF in Holmdel New Jersey,” said Team TSF leader, Lucretia Fasciano, who decided to become TEAM TSF leader to help the organization with its hard work of spreading awareness about Turner Syndrome.  I have a demanding career in South Florida, but I know that my time and involvement will inherently help spread the word to help others”.
“Not only are we proud of all her work and the new awareness brought to many families, it’s an honor to join in and become a part of this growing organization,” said Lucretia.  The Foundation has facilitated numerous education and awareness programs many for nominal fees to best serve all constituents.  “It is important that we show support so that families know we care.”
Not a runner?  Walkers are always welcome.  You can also sign up to volunteer, sponsor a runner, or just come and cheer on the participants.
“I will be participating in the St. Pete Marathon event walking the 1/2 marathon,” said Fasciano, and my family will be flying in to join our TEAM TSF.  It is a real family affair!”
Lace up those sneakers and join Lucretia and Team TSF in sunny Florida for a day of fun and exercise; all while raising support for a good cause!
“We hope to have a large group joining us for this new event location,” said Lucretia.

See The World, Support TSF!!

Do you want to vacation in Hawaii?  Is work taking you to Boston?  How about ringing in the New Year with family in California?
Instead of using Expedia, Hotwire or Travelocity, why not make your arrangements through LP Travel and help support girls and women that are affected by Turner Syndrome?
In an effort to take our awareness campaign from sea to shining sea, we are participating in a national marathon effort in 2012 starting in Phoenix, Arizona in January, St. Petersburg, FL in February, Nashville, TN in April, Long Branch, NJ in May and Seattle, WA in June.  You can join us at these events as a participant or volunteer and it is recommended that you book your accommodations early.  If you decide to join us in one of those cities, our donation partner, LP Travel has an incentivized giving relationship with TSF, and a donation will be made to the Turner Syndrome Foundation in your name for all travel made through this vendor.  The same applies every time you book a cruise, transfer an existing cruise, or book a vacation.
“In terms of my services, I am able to book any travel related arrangement including, family reunions, destination weddings, all-inclusive travel, cruises and such,” explains Paganucci, travel agent with LP Travel.  “I’ve been volunteering my time with TSF over the past years, and it is my sincere pleasure to donate a portion of my commissions to a charity that has such important impact to women and children.”
"Last January 21 of our closest friends and family gathered for a reunion aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line and we had the time of our life while benefiting the Foundation!” said Fasciano.
“What an easy way to generate funds for the foundation at no additional cost to you,” said Paganucci.
As a member of Vacation.com, LP Travel has access to great pricing and exclusive benefits they will pass on to their clients.
So why go through the hassle of finding your own flights, hotels and cruises, when you can book through LP Travel and enjoy the experience while supporting a good cause.
“We just returned from a family trip to Florida, LP Travel booked our whole trip.  The hotels were fabulous! LP Travel was a pleasure to work with and a contribution was made to benefit my charity.  THANK YOU LP TRAVEL,” said the Sullivan Family, LP Travel clients.
