Why?

Why does MLB call it the WORLD Series? In actuality, it's only our nation's teams vying for the title, right? No other countries are involved. Little League Baseball, on the other hand, has the final games of their series between a team from the United States and an international team. That is a real WORLD Series, which makes winning even more special. Don't get me wrong, I 'm not saying winning MLB's World Series is no accomplishment, I'm just saying maybe they should change the name to reflect what it actually is. Perhaps, The American Diamond Series, or The U.S. Pass-time Series. Those are lame but you get the idea!!
